When the clouds dance

What is this heavenly bond
which ties a mother and her child?
This strange, deep bond
destructible by no one!

They say a mother’s heart bleeds
whenever her child is hurt.
I believe the other way too,
but don’t know how it works.

Two bodies, two souls
living apart from one another!
How can they merge within?
How can they breathe together?

Strange are the ways of God
it’s Her reflection I guess!
That takes the form of the love
shared within these two souls.
